Can you run Live Optics in a current Cloud Environment ?

    I am assuming you want to run Optical Prime.  The quick answer is yes.  You can run Optical Prime on any of its various supported OSs.  Local runs are identical to as if you were collecting from a piece of hardware in your office.  Remote targeting can be very tricky.

    Agree with David, we were able to run Optical Prime on AWS EC2 instances. As long as you have access to the VMs, Windows or Linux, you can run the collector! And yes, remote targeting can be tricky (selecting a range of VMs), but again, as long as you have sufficient privileges, you should be fine. We run Optical Prime on 160 VMs in AWS simultaneously.
