How long is the CPU sampling interval?

How long is the CPU sampling interval?
If the average value of the interval is taken, is it not possible to confirm the peak value?
I have been pointed out.

I received data information of top command from the customer,
The value of CPU 0/1 indicates 86％/83％
I will attach the document.

  Live Optics contacts each server in every 2-minute interval for Optical Prime.  Then every 5 min interval Live Optics uploads whatever data that has been collected to the Live Optics Portal.
