IP address or URL to which Live Optics Collector sends data

Hi ,

 

I need to configure Firewall to allow the traffic from Live Optics Collector to Backend Website . Which URL /IP address I need to open , i noticed the port is https , but the destination ip or url is not mentioned in the FAQ.

  Thank you for reaching out TKN.

  Live Optics uses WMI for remote connectivity to Windows boxes. WMI uses TCP port 135 and then randomly assigns a port for the communication. 

   

  For Linux, Live Optics uses SSH (port 22) for communication. For VMWare, port 443 is used to connect to the WMWare API in vCenter

  I think what TKN was asking for was the internet URLs for the LiveOptics services. E.g. do you just need to whitelist *.liveoptics.com or are there other URLs required for the collector?

  Does anyone have the answer to this question?
  We required to configure the firewall towards the Internet when uploading data to the dashboard.

  Should be:

  Name: liveoptics.com
  Address: 104.43.254.102
  Port: 443
  
  But i do not know if that is the only used url.

  Clarification is needed.
