VNX Analysis is broken ? array config.xml is not extracted from SP_collect
I have attempted to submit several VNX reports on behalf of my customer - I received an error when selecting the sp_collect zip file, 'Failed to extract the ArrayConfig.xml file from SPCollect ZIP File'
I tried sp collects from both SPA's and complete fresh sets - And get the same error
I checked back with the customer that they are carrying out the collection according to the instructions provided - they are
In the end I have found an array config.xml in a compressed folder within the root folder ending "_sus" - I still get the file not extracted error when selecting the _sus zip so I have had to extract the xml and whilst I did not get the error on attempting submission, however that was 3 days ago and the report still shows as 'processing"

Am also facing the same issue

We have found this issue can be caused by the collector software not able to write/create files in the folder where it is running. Please make sure the user has extracted the files from the downloaded zip file and is running from a folder where files can be created.

Ran into the same issue. Fix was to right-click the application when opening "LiveOpticsDotNet4_5" and Run as Administrator to avoid the write/create issue Scott documented above.

Hi, I ran into the same issue. Tried "LiveOpticsDotNet4_5" and Run as Administrator, but still got the same error.
'Failed to extract the ArrayConfig.xml file from SPCollect ZIP File'
Any other workaround?
Thanks
Herry

See Scott Desbles comment on the workaround

I have tried this and had success - I extracted all related files and the liveoptics collector under the same root folder and ran the collector...it worked.
