Customer privacy of data collected

There is speculations that The Dell/EMC Live Optics tools feeds data back to Dell (it’s in the usage agreement) Is this true when using our own partner accounts in Live Optics that this customer private data is shared with Dell/EMC? I would hope the answer is no as this is a direct privacy issue.
