Does DPACK count VMs that are turned off or only VMs turned on when connecting to a Vcenter server for the collection?

  from the reports that i have run, it seems to count both..If you export the "guest VM" spreadsheet, it'll show the powered state of the VM.  I would verify these numbers with the customer though, I have had some wonky-ness with the reporting, but overall it seems good.  

   

  P.S.  I'm not sure about all of the roll-up numbers, haven't cross-checked them.  I've always just used the exports from the performance tab.

  Correct.  Live Optics Optical Prime (formerly DPACK) gets a count of both active and idle VMs.
