This document provides information on how to search for Projects in the Live Optics Portal.
What is a Project?
Performance data from the collector is organized into a container called a Project. A Project gathers information from one or more collectors and organizes them into a hierarchy of objects and provides users with numeric, tabular and graphical statistics about objects within the hierarchy. The Project is viewed within the user’s Web Portal.
What is the Live Optics Portal?
The web portal provides a rich, interactive interface for viewing projects. Project data is always viewable by your customer and if you were the party who requested the customer run Live Optics, the results are viewable by you. You can share projects with others in your company (if enabled), or with your sales team.
How to Search
There are a couple of methods to find a project to share in Live Optics;
- You can find up to six recent projects on the Live Optics Dashboard.
Projects in Side Menu
- Select Projects > Search Projects from the Side Menu in the Live Optics Portal.
- The first is to scroll down the project list under the search menu until the project is found. You can show up to forty projects per page.
- The second method is to enter search criteria into the text box along with specifying the "Search by" type and/or select the project types under "Scan Type".
