PLEASE NOTE: You may be able to run a collection with unsupported versions or editions that are not listed here, however, the results could be inaccurate and might not be a true representation of your SQL Server Instance.

Connectivity:

In order to upload a Collection to the Live Optics Web Portal, the Collector must have an external internet connection and our services must be capable of passing through the Firewall.

Permissions:

For the user to be authorized against a SQL Database, the user must have VIEW SERVER STATE permission on the Instance. Please contact your SQL DBA to request these permissions.
If your SQL Server Instance sits on a remote server, your Windows Authentication credentials must be permitted to authenticate against. You will not have the ability to authenticate with another Windows user in the Limited Preview of SQL Server for Workloads.
