Overview
This document explains the different types of users in Live Optics.
Dell User: This is a user for Dell employees only. If you have never logged into Live Optics before, go to https://www.liveoptics.com/signup and request your account be created, or contact your Dell Sales Team and request they register you to the Live Optics portal.
Channel Partner / VAR User: This is a user that is an employee of a VAR (Value-Added Reseller) or certified Dell Partner - A company that sells products and services to its own customers and wishes to use Live Optics to assist in this process by requesting that their customer run Live Optics.
OEM User: This is a user that is an employee of a Dell OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Partner. Dell OEM Partners sell software running on Dell equipment as a single package and are part of the Dell OEM Partner program. OEMs that have no relationship with Dell Technologies or Dell OEM division, but would like to participate in the Live Optics program. Inquire about signing up your team at info@liveoptics.com
End-User: This user refers to any other type of user, not described above. In general, these are users that run Live Optics on their assets.
