This document outlines the definitions used for the Optical Prime Online Viewer. All capacity values are calculated per base 2 (1024).

Peak of CPU Clock Speed in GHz for the aggregated sum of CPU workload for all hypervisors, physical servers and any virtual machine that was directly targeted by the collector over the entire collection period. |

Sum of CPU Clock Speed in GHz for all hypervisors, physical servers and any virtual machine that was directly targeted by the collector over the entire collection period. |
CPU - Cores |
Sum of the CPU cores for all hypervisors, physical servers and any virtual machine that was directly targeted by the collector over the entire collection period. |
CPU - CPU Sockets |
Sum of the CPU sockets (CPU packages) for all hypervisors, physical servers and any virtual machine that was directly targeted by the collector over the entire collection period. |
Capacity – Used |
Sum of the used local capacity and used shared cluster disk capacity for the entire project note – used shared capacity is the used value of each individual shared disk disk |
Capacity – Free |
Sum of the free local capacity and free shared cluster disk capacity for the entire project note – free shared capacity is the free value of each individual shared disk disk |
Capacity – Total |
Sum of the total local capacity and total shared cluster disk capacity for the entire project note – total shared capacity is the total of each individual shared disk |
Memory – Peak Memory |
The peak memory used for the aggregated memory workload for all hypervisors, physical servers and any virtual machine that was directly targeted by the collector over the entire collection period. |
Memory – Total Memory |
Sum of the provisioned Memory (KiB) for all hypervisors, physical servers and any virtual machine that was directly targeted by the collector over the entire collection period. |
Peak Aggregate Network Throughput |
The peak network throughput for the entire project considering send + receive data all hypervisors, physical servers and any virtual machine that was directly targeted by the collector over the entire collection period. |
IOPS at 95% |
The IO operations per second (combining read and write operations) for this project to and from all storage attached to the servers for the entire duration of the real-time collection at the 95th percentile of the peak. |

Used Shared Capacity |
Used capacity of the SHARED cluster disk – note in the XLSX each shared cluster disk will be present for each server it is connected to. The used capacity is shared among each server attached to that individual disk, therefore the used capacity is for each individual device name, one disk per device name.
i.e. if there are 8 shared disks but 150 servers attached to those disks, add up the used capacity for the 8 disks only
